Mirror Mask The Movie

This fascinating thrill ride is filled with all the twists and turns of exciting information about the mirror mask, so be sure to hold on for this bumpy ride!

In general, I am not a big fan of pure eye candy. In my opinion, Hollywood has mostly run out of ideas as far as creating newer and better special effects goes. For a while they could dazzle audiences and blow them away, but nowadays we are all jaded enough as viewers to require little bit of plot as well. Nonetheless, every once in a while a movie comes out that has so much flash that an apparent lack of content doesn’t seem to cripple it. Mirror mask was just such a movie.

Mirror Mask was the first movie to feature the writing team of Neil Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean. Usually, they are doing comic books or children’s picture books together. They are one of the most acclaimed duos in the entire comic book industry. Neil Gaiman usually gets most of the credit. He wrote the stories for the Sandman comics, as well as numerous one shots such as Mr. Punch. Nonetheless, anyone who has actually taken the time to sit down and look through these books has to admit that, without the art in them, the effect would be lost. The writing is good, but it doesn’t make it alone. Dave McKean’s unique multimedia pieces, combining drawing, painting, and photography in brilliant collages, is what really makes the books shine.

From here on out, we will give you tips on what can make this subject a little more helpful to you.

The great thing about Mirror Mask is that it is McKean’s turn to shine for once. The writing is okay, but to be honest as a member of the audience you don’t even really notice it. When you ask someone to describe Mirror Mask, they will talk about the fantastic giants, the bizarre backgrounds, or some other detail of the way the movie appears. They won’t mention the plot. As a matter of fact, the chances are even that they will not even remember it.

If you missed Mirror Mask the first time around, that is too bad. It is one of those movies that simply has to be seen in the theater if you want to get the full effect. Nonetheless, that is no reason that you shouldn’t go out and rent or even buy the Mirror Mask DVD. It is a movie that you have to see at least once, and it is pretty addictive. After you see it the first time, you’ll want to see it again. As a matter of fact, I watched Mirror Mask three times in a row before I even picked up another movie.

From beginning to end, this article has helped you to learn more about the mirror mask than you probably thought you would ever know.

Drum Gloves Are Fun

There are a lot of things in this world I had no idea existed until I married a musician. There are so many different pieces of complicated equipment that you could go broke trying to buy them all. Not everything is intense or expensive however, some of them are rather simple and serve a really great purpose. Things like guitar picks and drum sticks are some things that come to mind, but did you know there was such a thing as drum gloves? I didn’t know until recently. Perhaps that is because my husband is a guitar player and not a drummer.

I am not a drummer either, but I have played around with them before. I did nothing more than produce a lot of noise and few chuckles, but I can see why it is so much fun to play them and why you may have a hard time with them if you don’t have good timing. I can also see why drum gloves are around, and I wonder how some play the drums without them. You normally have quite a good grip on the sticks when you start, but that can soon change, and the drum gloves become a great idea.

The difference between drum globes and regular gloves are the fingers. Most of them are made so there are no fingers, but the rest of the glove is there to keep the sticks securely in a hand that is going to get very sweaty, but the fingers are touching the stick. Just like when you do anything with your fingers, touching the surface gives you better control.

There are some drummers that love to wear the drum gloves, and there are some that can’t stand to have them on their hands. This is to be expected. Each drummer learns and plays in a different manner, and if they don’t use the drum gloves early enough when learning, they aren’t going to have an easy time getting used to them. If you know a drummer that uses them, these can be a great gift. Take care though, and buy them new ones exactly like the ones they already use, or they may not like them. When buying for musicians, being on the safe side is the best bet.
